【Abstract】 The traditional course-oriented standard ISO6983 is the bottleneck to NC development,thus a new object-oriented standard STEP-NC (also called ISO14649) thus, comes up. Firstly this paper sets forth the disadvantages of ISO6983 and the advantages of STEP-NC. Next it is analysed the detail make-up, file structure, description methods and production methods of the product data model based on STEP-NC. After that the composition of CNC system based on STEP-NC is investigated. Then the conception and accomplishment approach principle of SOFT open CNC based on STEP-NC is brogut forward . Finally, the importance of the NC system based on STEP-NC is set forth.更多还原
