YAG晶体中Yb3+对Er3+的敏化作用
The sensitive action of Yb3+ ions on Er3+in YAG crystal.
【摘要】 根据能级跃迁速率方程得出Yb,Er:YAG中各能级布居数与Er3+离子浓度的关系.并与单掺Er:YAG中各能级布居数相比较,讨论共掺Yb3+对Er3+的波长为1.64和2.94μm两荧光的影响.结合作者关于红外光激励Yb,Er:YAG能量上转换为可见光工作,提出将Yb,Er:YAG晶体研制成以半导体激光器为激励源的可见光和1.64μm红外光的双波长全固化激光器的设想.
【Abstract】 The relation between the populations of levels and the concentration of Er\+\{3+\} ions in Yb,Er:YAG crystal is obtained from the rate equations of level\|transition. Compared with the populations of levels in Er:YAG crystal we discuss the influence of Yb\+\{3+\} ions to the fluorescence of Er\+\{3+\} at both 1.64μm and 2.94μm wavelengths. Combining author’s recent work that Yb, Er:YAG crystal extraited from infrared light emits visible red (or green) laser light through the up\|conversion of energy, this paper forward puts the conception that Yb, Er:YAG crystal can be made as completely solidified laser excited semiconductor laser at the double laser wavelengths (visible laser light and infrared laser light at 1.64μm).
