【Abstract】 A numerical method for static analysis of a mooring cable with some sections of different masses and elasticity under the action of current is developed.The corresponding calculation approach and program flowchart are described.This approach gives good agreement with the calculation result by Catenary theory for uniform mooring cable without elasticity.Numerical examination is carried out on the displacement of the mooring cable and the horizontal and vertical forces at the top end of the mooring cable.The nonlinear relationship between them has been found.更多还原
