Objective To study and sum up the experience of using combined external fixation to treat comininuled fractures at multiple pails of the tibia and fibula.Methods 25 patients with multiple comminuted fractures uf the tibia arid fibula were treated with combined external fixation in the past three years.There were 18 mules and 7 females,and their average age was 37.7 years (ranging from 18 ~ 52 years).Results After 3 ~ 15 months' follow-up,all the patients recovered perfectly.The average time of bone union wa...
