【Abstract】 Oxytocinreceptor(OTR)isamemberofG -proteincoupledreceptor ,whichhasbeen foundinmanytumorsandcancercelllines .Manystudiesrevealedoxytocin(OT)mayinhibitthetumorand cancercellgrowthandproliferation ,butthemechanismofthisinhibitionisnotwellknown .Someexperiments indicatedcAMP -PKAsystemparticipatesinthesignaltransductionthatoxytocininhibitsthecancercellpro liferation .However ,otherexperimentsshowedthesignaltransductionforoxytocinintheHs5 78Tcarcinosaco macellisthesameasthatinthenormalcells .Inthisreview ,therelationshipbetweenOTRandtumorsare summarized .
