【Abstract】 Human body is a complex system composed of various essences, which have the characters of whole, contact, organizing and period, et al. Maxillofacial region is a part of system of human body. The subject of oral and maxillofacial surgery has developed from simple, complicated to advanced simplifying. The course showed a truth that part could improve the whole, if we take the method of system science, and follow the principle of medicine, and consider the aesthetics of face, then chang the part correctly. The system science enlightens that the subject of oral and maxillofacial surgery must have the standpoint of whole and the method of connection.
