【Abstract】 The paper gives a systemmetical and comprehensive description and comparation to traditional plasticity potential theory and generalized plasticity potential theory (including two cases:stress main axis revolving or not).The two potential theories offer an answer to question of metal and rock deforming mechanicsm and make great achievements(especially involved the latter).
