【Abstract】 There were “big nobles” in some states during the Warring States period. The “big nobles” were economically autonomic, but their political power were restricted by the central government and they couldn’t handle the national army freely and hadn’t the right of owning private arms. In addition, their post couldn’t be inherited, and the relations of the people in the manor and the big nobles had been turned affiliated into an agreement.
