【Abstract】 As many previous studies indicated,the regional geological setting and evolution history,particularly those of the Luliang basin and surrounding area,must be taken into account in the study of the origin of the colorful sand sediment which formed the well-known colorful sand forest landscape.However,there is a distinct difference between the Niutoushan palaeoisland and the present Niutoushan mountain in location and extent.The further study shows that the origin of colorful sand and other clastics is proximal and polygenetic.更多还原
