基于FLCM的太阳Stokes矢量偏振测量术
Solar Stokes Vecter Polarimetry Based on FLCM
【摘要】 利用两个标准λ/2FLCM(铁电液晶调制器)提出了太阳Stokes矢量偏振测量术。在不同的调制相位间隔测量4次光强便可导出全部Stokes矢量。利用FLC容易实现高调制频率(几千Hz)。这种偏振测量术的测量装置没有机械运动部件,不能引起杂散光效应,与快速解调器相结合在可见光范围内测量精度非常高。理论分析与实验结果符合很好。
【Abstract】 Solar Stokes vector polarimetry using two standard λ/2 FLCM is presented.The complete Stokes vector (two linear polarizations and circular polarization)can be deduced from four intensity measurements taken at different phase intervals of the modulation.With FLC,modulation frequencies in the kilohertz range can be realized easily.No moving parts that could introduce spurious optical effects are used.In combination with fast demodulators,highprecision vector polarimetry in the visible can be performed. A theoretical analysis is presented and compared with first test results on the system′s performance.
