【Abstract】 Attractive features of biocatalysis including high efficiency, versatility, substrate selectivity, regioselectivity, chemoselectivity, enantioselectivity and catalysis under mild conditions are reviewed. The current efforts by several chemical companies in the area of industrialization of biocatalysis are summarized. It can be predictable that in the decade more bioprocesses that offer the processes advantage over traditional chemical routes will be widely used in the industrial production of fine chemicals.更多还原
