【Abstract】 Deng Xiaoping’s theory of government functions is a theoretical treasure not yet systematically explored in China’ s theoretical field. Based on a definition and explanation of the connotation of government functions and the related issues, this paper, with a study of Deng Xiaoping’s related elaboration on government functions, makes a comprehensive discussion about the deficiencies and historic rationality of China’ s traditional pattern of highly centralized government functions, and makes a systematic and in -depth analysis and generalization of the main content of Deng Xiaoping’ s theory of government functions as well as its theoretical and practical values, in a hope to make a contribution to the research work.更多还原
