【Abstract】 The process of fairing reconstructing surfaces is a important step for reverse engineering . The central problem on fairing surfaces is how to smooth surfaces quickly and simply and rightly. In this paper, a method is put forward for fairing surfaces reconstructed by B-spline approximation, and the fundamental principle and the fairing criterion are described. Examples experienced show that it is quick and simple, and it is a practicable method for fairing surfaces.更多还原
