基于三维小波变换及运动补偿的视频图像压缩技术
Technique of Video Compression Based on 3D Wavelet Transform and Motion Compensation
【摘要】 视频图像压缩技术是多媒体信息存储和传输的关键。提出了一种结合运动补偿的三维小波视频图像编码压缩技术。该算法首先对视频图像进行三维小波分解 ,然后对分解后的不同频率的子图像进行量化编码 ,并结合运动补偿技术消除图像帧之间的冗余相关信息 ,实现视频图像的编码压缩。实验仿真结果证明了这一算法的可行性和有效性
【Abstract】 Video technology is a key to multimedia storage and transmission. A technique of video compression based on 3D wavelet transform and motion compensation is proposed. With this algorithm, the image is firstly decomposed by three scale wavelet transform, then the coding method is applied to different frequency sub band images and thus the redundant information is eliminated with motion compensation. The experimental results with artificial and real data are given.
