【Abstract】 A knowledge- based method for land use/cover classification is put forward. which combines the information derived from RS (remote sensing) with that derived from GIS (geographic information system). Comparison the results of this method with those obtained with the traditional Maximum likelihood Classification indicates that this new method is more accurate. Thus it is thought to be a powerful tool for monitoring the use of land resources and environmental changes.更多还原
