【Abstract】 With the background of human sustainable strategy, the authors take human settlement as an organic part of nature and introduce gene theory to the study of regional green settlement creatively. Referring to scientific law, this paper regards the inherent rules that affect human settlement as adjusting mechanism and calls human response towards environment as "regional gene".
