【摘要】 介绍了图像压缩的基本知识,分析了JPEG压缩标准,并结合医学图像的特点就JPEG压缩标准在医学图像压缩中的应用进行了初步的研究.

【Abstract】 Basic knowledge of image compressing is introduced, and JPEG compressing standard is analyzed. According to the characteristics of medical image, the application of JPEG compressing standard in medical image compressing is studied tentatively.
