【Abstract】 Based on the results of relevant researches in China and abroad, the volume change regularity during cooling and solidification of ductile iron castings was described. The contraction and expansion pattern of ductile iron was established which was used to analyze the formation mechanism of small ductile iron castings.With a wheel hub casting as example, the measures to prevent shrinkage defects were proposed.更多还原
