小波SPIHT编码的DSP实现
Using DSP to Realize SPIHT Encoding Method Based on Wavelet Transform
【摘要】 小波变换编码属于图像压缩中的变换编码方法.它能将原始图像在频域内作多层分解,为压缩编码方法提供理想的变换域.集分割算法(SPIHT)是来源于零树编码的一种更为有效标志位编码方法.本文研究了基于小波分析的SPIHT编码压缩方法及其实时性能,并在TMS320C6701板上进行了实现.实验测得压缩解压时间仅为PC机上的1/8~1/7,运行速度较PC机有了较大提高.
【Abstract】 Wavelet transform is a kind of transform encoding method in image processing. By decomposing original image to multi-resolutions in frequency domain, it provides ideal transform domain for image compression. Set Partitioning in Hierarchical Trees (SPIHT) method is a more effective wavelet coefficients scanning method originated from zero-tree method. We tested this wavelet transform and SPIHT coding compression method, and applied this method on TMS320C6701.The time of compression and decompression getting from experiments was only 1/8~1/7 of that of getting from PC.A faster running speed than that on PC was attained.
