【Abstract】 Studies on the feeding of ctenophore Pleurobrachia globosa from Xiamen Harbour were undertaken through gut content analysis and feeding experiment, with main resuslts as follows: 1) The principal food items of P. globosa were copepod, cirriped nauplii, brachyuran zoea, macruran larvae, amphipod with different selectivity; 2) Linear relation was found between feeding rate and prey density with the food level from 440 to 1750 prey·L-1: y=76.533 7+0.202 4 x; 3) The population feeding ration in Xiamen Harbour and in Taiwan Strait was estimated from gut content and feeding experiment.更多还原
