【Abstract】 PACS system has been Widely used since recent years. Large volumes of medical images and diagnosis data are stored in PACS. Though these data are very rich, b ut ″information″ or ″knowledge″ are very poor. In this paper, we use data mining techniques in PACS system to ex tract the hidden knowledge from PACS data, especially mining the medical images. Combining with examines and diagnoses of patients, data mining can uncover the pattern between medical images and diagnoses.
