【Abstract】 The developments of wind turbine technology are discussed in the paper including higher power capacity, power control improvement, variable speed, generator and power electronics. And also, the paper points out some problems which need to be settled and perfected such as power quality, mechanical structure, aerodynamics, control and wind farm construction.
