【Abstract】 Nature conditions are scurviness in hilly and gully region on northwest loess plateau, which is one of the most serious region in our country. The constructure of the network of protective forestry has acquired obvious accomplishment, but a series of problems have not been solved. In order to chang the status, concept of the network system of protective forestry, the principle and pattern mode of the system discussed in detail, the feasible trees and pattern moder suggested.
