【Abstract】 protecting geological vestiges and constructing geoparks (geological parks) are new important directions for geologists to serve society and contribute to economic development. This essay analyses features, value of research, teaching and tourist exploitation of three geoparks in Shaanxi Province according to geology, geography, tourism, and landscape.
