【Abstract】 Discourse topic’s domination over subtopic lays the foundation of discourse coherence, which is enforced by topic shift markers. The author holds that except some adjuncts as topic shift markers, cohesive devices are widely used for discourse topic shift. With the help of corpus analysis, the author attempts to show that different cohesive devices match to different genres.更多还原
