【Abstract】 The article reviews the guiding principles for compilation, the system and the contents of the book A New College English Grammar Course published recently by Shanghai Foreign Language Education Press. It elaborates that the book is based on the revised Syllabus for College English. It also explains, in consideration of the need of college students in China, that the book has incorporated some new features in the selection of contents and in its arrangement so as to develop and improve students’ ability to use English more quickly, more confidently and with greater accuracy.更多还原
