【Abstract】 Free interest rates are an internal prerequisite of the market economy. With the accelerating opening of the financial market of China following its entry to the WTO, free interest rates will become a historical requisition. However, the conditions for free interest rates in China are not ripe yet. Under such circumstances, the implementing of free interest rate policy will certainly have great impact on various economic entities.
