【Abstract】 The package of VLSI design software - Alliance VLSI CAD system is introduced in this paper.In general the VLSI design needs high-quality workstation with very costly software tools,such as those provided by Cadence,Synopsis,Mentor Graphics.Whereas the Alliance con not only be successfully installed on microcomputer (or personal computer),but also be downloaded free from Internet.Thus designing VLSI on a personal computer is attractive to college students,because Alliance can provide them cheap and effective tools for leaming IC design.How to set up Alliance on personal computer and make use of Alliance to design VLSI are stated.更多还原
