【Abstract】 The spatial data of SOTER database in HongKong were established based on digital elevation model and other maps exclusively handled by using GIS software. This can make SOTER methodology more suitable with modern technology. The rules of SOTER methodology are discussed in the article, and some of them applied to regional level are brought forward, which contributes to establishment of a whole series of SOTER methodology for application both at global and national level and at regional level. The SOTER database of HongKong can provide detailed information for the evaluation of soil quality, environment quality and the sustainable landuse management in this region.更多还原
