【Abstract】 Based on the analysis from the perspective of psychology and pedagogy, this paper illustrates that the fundamental issues of encouragement and punishment are the issues of reasonable application in primary and middle school education. Through theoretical analysis, the basic problems that can be solved by the appropriate use of encouragement and punishment are identified, which are the encouragement and punishment theories, teacher qualities and school management in pedagogy and psychology system.
