【Abstract】 The mechanism, research and application progress of bioremediation techniques for harnessing soil polluted by petroleum hydrocarbons in situ, ex-situ(on site, prepared bed, composting of soil, soil-slurry rector, anaerobic bioremediation)and plant bioremediation were reviewed in this paper.
