【Abstract】 This paper discussed the ecoengineering construction about tackling the desert problem of the semidesert region in a comprehensive way in respect to its benefits from resources utilization, economic returns, environmental effects and social influences. On the base of analysis, comprehensively evaluated the four kinds of effects and comprehensive benefits of the engineering by applying comprehensive evaluation method, established gray model and appraised the continuing benefits of the engineering.
