二氧化碳灭天然气火灾性能研究
Study on the Fire Extinguishing Efficiency of CO2
【摘要】 对CO2惰性性质进行了探讨,从实验和理论两个角度论证了CO2灭天然气火灾时并非惰性,可以与天然气反应生成醇、醛、酮、酸;CO2与天然气的反应,一方面使CO2的灭火原理有了相应的改变、灭火效率降低;另一方面,反应产物有腐蚀性,介电常数下降。因此,CO2在消防中作为灭火剂的使用范围应做适当调整。
【Abstract】 This article studied the inert properties of CO2 and proved experimentally and theoretically that CO2 is not inert when it is used to extinguish a fire of natural gas because it can react with natural gas to form alcohol, aldehyde, ketone and acid On the one hand, such reaction may change the extinguishing principle of CO2 and lower extinguishing efficiency; on the other hand, the resultants of such reaction are corrosive and result in the decrease of dielectric constant Therefore, the using of CO2 as an extinguishing agent in fire fighting should be adjusted appropriately
