【Abstract】 The health diagnosis and safety assessment of the dock structures in Nanjing are studied. It is important task to diagnose the health and to assess the safety of the aging dock structures. It is obvious that the member damages are observed in the aging dock. It includes the cracking and debonding of concrete, the exposed rebar, and the corrosion of steel. In the paper, the remained strength of concrete is examined by means of the resiliometer; the behavior of the concrete members is checked by the stress wave; and the behavior of dock is determined by the dynamics approach. It is found that the obtained results are provided for the scientific basis to assess the safety.更多还原
