【Abstract】 First the giant magnetoresistive(GMR) effect is introduced in this paper. According to the GMR effect , a new kind of functional material -giant magnetoresistive (GMR)materials has been gotten .The kind of GMR materials and its feature also are given. Finally the recent application and development of the GMR heads which are used in computer hard disks and GMR MARMs are discussed , and GMR materials also have remarkable market potential in sensor and other field application.更多还原
