【Abstract】 Under the interference and relevance of the context, the discourse semantic expression is achieved by the nexus corresponding with the thinking mechanism through its expansion. The proper understanding of the concept of nexus and its expansion under the interference of the context will play an active role in the accurate inference and judgement of the semantic comprehension. The paper expounds the concepts, characteristics and the interrelations of nexus and context from the aspect of structure and function.
