CD对果蝇唾腺染色体形态结构的影响
Effects of Cytochalasin D upon Structure of Polytene Chromosomes ofDrosophila virilis
【摘要】 用F -肌动蛋白的抑制剂细胞松弛素D (CD)对果蝇唾腺进行 1~ 5h处理 ,发现唾腺染色体的形态结构有明显畸变 .随着CD处理时间的延长 ,唾腺染色体形态结构的畸变逐渐加剧 ,表现出松散区域逐渐扩大 ,带纹由模糊到消失、胀泡由存在到消失等一系列形态结构的连续变化过程 ,说明F -肌动蛋白在维持染色体形态结构方面起重要作用
【Abstract】 Salivary glands of Drosophila virilis were cultured for 1 to 5 h in a medium containing 5μmol/L cytochalasin D,which prevents actin from polymerizing and hence inhibits function of F actin.Structural aberrations of the polytene chromosomes, such as loosening of chromosomes and vanishing of bands and puffs, were found in the squashes of the salivary glands. The longer the specimens were exposed to cytochalasin D, the severer the chromosomal aberrations were, showing the process of continuous changes from normal polytene chromosomes to the bead like, band free ones. The results demonstrate that F actin plays an important role in polytene chromosome structure.
