【Abstract】 This paper gives a general introduction of bucket foundation and presents a method to calculate the vertical bearing capacity of it,which has the features of shallow foundations with the classic formulas. Furthermore, the sensitivity analysis of soil parameters is implemented through the test data and different contributions of soil parameters for the foundation capacity shown based on a particular project.
