【Abstract】 Braudel was not a geographic environmental determinist. First, he did not exclude but rather affirm human beings’ change of the geographic environment. Second, he did create something uncommon, the personification of the geographic environment which ingeniously combines men and animals. For him, geographic environment was not the key point of his argument but merely an approach to make deeper exploration of the development of human history.更多还原
