【Abstract】 Developing together with the globalization process, the regional organizations are playing more and more important role. Among the regional organizations, the EU has been the first one integrated economically and politically in substantial way. In the globalization process and the need to shape a multi-polar world it may become a model for regional cooperation for other continents like Asia and Africa.
