【Abstract】 On the basis of the classification of landslides, the article systemically put forward the basic geological model on landslides. It is important to consider of the influence of every factor and choose the main factor as the essence element in the research. Along with the different stage of exploration, it is necessary to establish the individual geological model on landslides for the different object. All these built a firm foundation for the formation of the geology model which was used to monitor and predict a landslide, and all these will benefit for the further studies of the development of landslides.
