【Abstract】 The consciousness of time leflected by the time scale in ShangShu in Pre-Qin period is specific, is connected with celestial phenomena and men’s daily life and full of sense of "opportunity". This sense keeps the tension between heaven and mankind, makes men’s action harmonious with nature’s motion. At the same time, the history narrative in ShangShu contains two aspects of time--cycle time and "eternal today". There exists contradiction between them, but they’re not be mutually exclusive.
