【Abstract】 Aiming at the performence problem in DBMS (Database Management System) applications, a stage model combined with software engineering is put forward. And then, the methods on how to improve the performance in the applications at every stage are introduced. As a system project on performance improving, it is not better if only paying attention to the special points but not regarding the project as a whole .
