【Abstract】 This paper firstly introduces the conception of the CSCW. Then a multi-version database model (called DBV approach) is introduced. One of the features of the DBV approach is the distinction between the logical level and the physical level. Thirdly, the paper describes how to apply DBV approach in CSCW (mainly including check-in check-out and merge function, at the same time the paper introduces another new conception- temporary database version to improve the ability of long-duration transaction).
