【Abstract】 Dioctyl dimethylammonium hydroxide is synthesized with dioctylamine as raw material, dimethyl sulfate as alkylating agent and calcium oxide as removing acid agent. The conversion of the dioctylamine is 100%.Diocty dimethyl quaternary ammonium salt is formed by using HC1 or HBr to neutralize diocty Dimethyl ammonium hydroxide.
