基于可编程图形硬件的直接体绘制方法
Interactive Direct Volume Rendering on Modern Programmable Graphic Hardware
【摘要】 可编程点元渲染器和片元渲染器已成为新一代图形处理器 (GPU)的标志。应用可编程渲染器带来了许多过去由固定渲染器无法得到的复杂图像效果和三维环境的真实感。图形硬件的可编程能力也扩展了硬件加速的直接体绘制算法 ,提高了它的交互性能和图像质量。我们充分利用硬件加速支持的三维纹理、多纹理和片元渲染器 ,可以对体数据进行插值前分类和插值后分类 ,多维转换函数的映射 ,Phong光照渲染等。实现了体数据的交互式半透明显示和等值面显示。
【Abstract】 The programmable vertex shader and fragment shader are the sign of the new generation graphic processing unit(GPU) that bring new special effects and increase the quality of image. Also, the programmable graphic hardware expands the algorithms of direct volume rendering, new rendering algorithms based on texture are presented in this papar. These algorithms use hardware accelerated 3D texture, multi-texture and fragment shader to implement pre- and post- classification, multi-dimensional classification, phong shading and shadow for volume translucent rendering and non-polygonal iso-surface rendering.
