反求工程及其相关技术
Reverse engineering and its technologies
【摘要】 传统产品设计的过程往往起始于设计者的思维,但在某些场合下为了进行产品的设计、分析和制造,经常需要按照实物建立相应的模型,为此便出现了反求工程(RE).实体数字化方法、数据的精简及去噪声处理、曲面拟合等,反求工程的基本概念及一些相关技术,是常用到并有待解决的问题.反求软件也有简单的介绍.
【Abstract】 The task of manufacturing a new product usually begins at the designer’s desk where an idea is transformed into a design for a physical model.Although in some industries, computeraided designs are generated at this preliminary stage,this is often not feasible in other cases. It is frequently required to create geometric model from existing objects,so comes Reverse Engineering(RE). This paper gives a definition to RE and focuses on the key technologies related to it, including data capturing, data processing and surface reconstruction.It also gives a profile to the commercial software related to RE and presents problems now facing it.
