【Abstract】 Through the analyses of the compression scheme, Sub-frame Vector Quantization (SVQ), we made a comparison of the compression mechanism and the characteristics between SVQ and VQ, and thus brought up some new and valuable features of SVQ. The simulation’s results proved that these features would contribute much to enhancing the SNR of the reconstructed image, reducing the blocking effect and generating the codebook in much better order.更多还原
