【Abstract】 This thesis analyses the Chinese "point of view" in Pearl Buck’s The Good Earth, and displays the author’s tendency against Orientalism. Pearl Buck applies the familiar and defamiliarized point of views to foreground its ideological connotations, by which she wishes to break the gap between the Chinese and American cultures, and advocates the profound understanding between them,especially Chinese people take American culture in a different way American people express it.更多还原
