【Abstract】 In order to provide scientific evidence for selection of tree species,spatial arrangement in the establishment of water conservation forests in the low mountain and hilly areas in the upper reaches of the Yangtze River,the hydrologic traits of the vertical structure of the four forest types(Pinus elliotii,Alnus cremastogyne,Robinia pseudoacacia,and mixed pine and alder forest)in Wancanggou small watershed in the valleys of the Jialingjiang River were analyzed in this paper.The results have shown that the hydrologic traits of the four forest types vary from each other:1.Canopy interception:Pinus elliotii>Robinia pseudoacacia>mixed pines and alder forest>Alnus cremastogyne.2.Waterretaining capacity of litter layer:Robinia pseudoacacia>Alnus cremastogyne>mixed pines and alder forest>Pinus elliotii.3.Waterstorage capacity of forest soil:Alnus cremastogyne>mixed pine and alder forest>Robinia pseudoacacia>Pinus Elliotii.更多还原
